Ben Roberts out for the season

Castleford stand-off Ben Roberts will miss the rest of the 2016 season with a foot injury suffered at Magic Weekend.

In a huge blow for the Tigers, Roberts will undergo surgery tomorrow.

He won’t return this year after picking up the injury in Castleford’s win over Warrington in Newcastle.

Roberts joined Cas from the Melbourne Storm in 2015.

The 30-year old has scored 10 tries in 30 games for the Tigers.
