Ben Evans extends stay at Toulouse

Wales international Ben Evans have signed a new deal with Toulouse for the 2020 season.

The 26-year-old made 19 appearances for the French side in the Championship last season, scoring one try.

Evans is currently with the Wales national team as they prepare for the World Cup Nines this weekend.

Toulouse chairman Bernard Sarrazain said: “Ben is a valuable part of our workforce.

“He is a quality player who is very precise about the details. He’s a nice boy as well.”

Evans added: “I am very happy to stay in Toulouse.

“I can’t wait to start the Championship as we aim to reach our goal.”
