Oldham prop Ben Davies has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 30-year-old will enter his fourth season with the Roughyeds in 2020 as he becomes the 19th player under contract in Matt Diskin’s squad for next year.

Davies has made 45 appearances for Oldham since making his debut back in 2017.

Oldham coach Diskin said: “Ben has some real quality about him and a load of pedigree at Championship level and even higher.

“His body has let him down a bit in recent seasons, preventing him getting as much game-time as he would have liked but his quality and experience will be very useful for us.”

Oldham will begin life back in the Championship by hosting Widnes at Bower Fold on Sunday, February 2.
