Ben Currie back for Warrington while Matt Whitley out for Widnes

Warrington have been handed a boost with the return of Ben Currie while Widnes forward Matt Whitley has been ruled out of the derby.

Steve Price has made two changes to his Warrington side that beat Wakefield Trinity last week. Currie returns from injury while Morgan Smith has also been included in the squad. The duo replace Mitch Brown and Harvey Livett. Josh Charnley is expected to make his Wolves debut.

Widnes coach Denis Betts has made two changes to his Widnes side that beat Salford Red Devils last time out. Tom Gilmore and Gil Dudson return from injury while Whitley and Danny Craven are out of the squad.

The Super League clash takes place at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Good Friday, 3pm kick-off.
