Batley take Grehan on loan

Championship side Batley have signed utility James Grehan from Castleford on loan.

Grehen, 23, signed for the Tigers from French side Limoux in the close season and can play in the centres or the back-row.

Australian-born to English parents, the former St George and Parramatta youngsters has struggled to make an impact at the PROBIZ Coliseum, making just three appearances this season.

He could make his Championship debut next Sunday, when John Kear’s side travel to Hunslet.
