Batley snare Faal and Flanagan from local rivals

Batley have signed centre Ayden Faal and hooker George Flanagan from local rivals Dewsbury.

Faal, 25, has scored eight tries for the Rams this season, and the former Leeds, Doncaster and Hunslet man can also fill in at loose forward.

Flanagan, also 25, returns to Batley for a second spell.

He was banned for two years in March 2009 after testing positive for cocaine, but returned to rugby league mid way through last season.

In 2012, he scored eight tries in 16 appearances for the Rams.
