Batley Bulldogs pair James Brown and Alex Rowe have signed new deals to stay with the club until the end of the 2018 season.

Brown joined the Bulldogs in 2015 from Swinton while Rowe has previously had stints at Castleford, Sheffield and Doncaster.

The club said in a statement: “Despite massive interest from other clubs, Batley are delighted to make this announcement as they believe keeping players of this calibre shows how they are progressing as a club and more good news after the great win at the weekend.”
