Barrow recall half-back from loan at Whitehaven
Barrow have recalled half-back Jake Carter from his loan spell at Cumbrian neighbours Whitehaven.
Carter’s loan at Haven was due to expire on June 30, but he has returned to the Raiders earlier than planned.
The young half-back made his Whitehaven debut in the traditional Cumbrian Good Friday derby against Workington.
Carter made three appearances for Haven, scoring one try. He has appeared off the bench twice for Barrow in 2019.
A Whitehaven statement read: “The club would like to thank Jake for his efforts in the chocolate, blue and gold and wish him all the best.”
