Barrow and Workington Town draw

Barrow and Workington Town have fought out at 10-10 draw at Craven Park.

Workington Town had a slender six-point lead at the break but a late Brad Marwood try under the posts sealed things up in terrible conditions.

After just five minutes Dec Hume was over for Workington. Fifteen minutes later the Raiders responded through centre Chris Hankinson.

Workington went in front after Sam Forroster grounded a cross-field kick from Jack Murphy. That try was enough to give the visitors a 10-4 lead at half-time.

Workginton looked set to edge the close battle but Marwood’s dramatic score tied things up.
