Barba crosses codes

Former NRL star Ben Barba has reportedly signed with rugby union side Toulon until the end of the season.

Barba left Cronulla at the end of 2016 after testing positive for cocaine.

The fullback has had a chequered career in rugby league after stints at the Bulldogs, Broncos and Sharks.

Toulon has a long history of signing rugby league players, with Semi Radradra set to join them later this year.

Sonny Bill Williams played for the French union club for several seasons after leaving Canterbury in 2008.
