Leeds prop Ryan Bailey could be banned for up to five matches following his red card against Catalan on Monday.

Bailey, 29, has been charged with Grade C and Grade B offences of striking with hand, arm or shoulder, which carry a tariff of 2-3 and 1-2 matches respectively.

He has the option to submit an Early Guilty Plea for the Grade C offence.

Castleford winger Justin Carney, who has only recently returned to action following a two-match ban, could be set for another spell on the sidelines after he charged with making a Grade C dangerous throw in the defeat at St Helens.

Hull KR‘s Travis Burns, another who has already missed a number of games through suspension this season, has been charged with a Grade B high tackle in their win over Hull on Friday, while Huddersfield’s Eorl Crabtree was guilty of the same offence against Salford.

Bradford’s Elliott Whitehead and Wakefield pair Chris Annakin and Justin Poore were issued formal cautions for dangerous throws over the weekend.
