I am a news and features writer for Love Rugby League, part of the Planet Sport Group.
I cover everything Rugby League in the UK, as well as specialist reporting covering the Australian National Rugby League (NRL). I have my finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest NRL developments including club news and player moves.
I studied a Bachelor of Journalism at Bond University on the Gold Coast, Australia, where I won a Dean’s Award for academic excellence. More recently, I completed a Master of Laws at Sussex University in the UK, while on a high-performance athlete scholarship for rugby league.
I’m an award-winning investigative journalist with a 10-year career in the news media working as a writer, editor and producer.
Over the last decade I have worked around the world in television, radio, print and digital news media for an array of international companies such as Channel 7, APN, News.net, MTV and The Epoch Times, where I covered everything from the Olympics to politics. My work has also been published on websites such as Crikey and Ticketmaster.
Having represented both the Netherlands and Poland in men’s international rugby league, I have taken a keen interest in the wider rugby league community, including the international, women’s and wheelchair competitions.
In 2023, I appeared as one of the Aussie contenders in the ITV original show “Grand Slammers” as a part of ITV’s commitment to Rugby World Cup programming.
As it turns out, I am a Broncos fan through and through – originally starting out in Queensland, Australia as a junior Brisbane Broncos member, to now a dedicated London Broncos fan.
