Aston wary of Oldham attack

Sheffield coach Mark Aston won’t be taking Oldham lightly when his team take on the Roughyeds on Monday.

Sheffield have yet to beat Oldham in two previous occasions this year.

The Eagles lost to Swinton 40-38 last weekend.

“Lapses of concentration cost us dear and we got beat by a team who wanted it more than us,” Aston said.

“They can score points and play entertaining football.

“On Monday, we’re playing a team that have a bit of dog and fight in them.

“We’ve spoken about it and hopefully we’ll come with an attitude we’ve had in the weeks before and get the result.

“It’s about bouncing back.”
