Sheffield Eagles coach Mark Aston is delighted that one of his front rowers will be back from injury this weekend.

Scotland international Mitch Stringer, who has several tattoos commemorating Batman on his arms, will be back for Sunday’s game against Hunslet at the Keepmoat Stadium.

“Batman returns – we need Mitch out on that field because of his talk (to the team) and his presence in a game,” Aston told the Sheffield Star.

“He’s been very important to this club and we need a fit Mitch on that field to glue that team together.”

Aston is now looking for an improvement in overall performance as his side defend a five-game unbeaten run at the weekend.

They now face a run of three league games in nine days, and Aston knows that he needs his whole squad fit.

“We are getting people back,” Aston added.

“I’ll use everybody in the squad to come out of that Monday game with something. We’ve got to know our best 17 players.”
