Wakefield Wildcats have confirmed that outside back Joe Arundel has inked a new, two-year deal with the club.

The 24-year-old should now stay at Trinity until the end of the 2017 season.

Joe Arundel provided a solid stability throughout the latter part of last season,” said Wildcats head coach Brian Smith.

“We are keen to see how the physical development of a big off-season working on skills and his time in the gym pays off for big Joe.”

The player is pleased to have sorted his future with the Wildcats.

“I am very pleased to have signed a new deal,” he said.

“It is an exciting time to be at the club.”
