Catalans half-back Arthur Mourgue has signed a new three-year contract with the club.

The 21-year-old has made seven appearances for the Dragons since making his first team debut in 2018. He represented France at the Nines World Cup in 2019.

Mourgue said: “I’m really happy to sign a new contract with the Catalans Dragons.

“It’s a great opportunity for me. I love playing for this team and its fans. I can’t wait to start the new season.”

Catalans coach Steve McNamara said: “Arthur has developed extremely well over the last 12 months due to his attitude and professional approach.

“His work ethic is outstanding. He is an exciting player who we feel will now go onto to establish himself both at the Dragons and in the Super League competition.”
