Parramatta Eels coach Brad Arthur has confirmed that Chris Sandow will be staying put at the club until the end of the season.

Warrington coach Tony Smith has revealed that the Wolves are keen to add Sandow to their ranks, and there were also reports that they wanted him in their squad before the end of the 2015 campaign.

“It’s hard to release any player at this time of the year,” Arthur said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“I have to do what’s best for this team and this club and that’s keeping our squad intact and moving forward, we can’t be affording to pay players to play at other clubs.”
