Arona suspended for two games

Wakefield forward Tinirau Arona has been handed a two week ban for his tackle on St Helens back Adam Swift on Friday night.

Arona has been suspended for two games and fined £300 after being found guilty of Grade B dangerous contact.

The incident occurred in the 6th minute of the Super League game between St Helens and Wakefield on March 11, with Swift seriously injured.

Saints won the game 44-4. Arona will miss matches against Hull FC and Huddersfield.
