Wakefield have confirmed that they have signed Anthony Walker from St Helens until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Welsh international prop is Trinity’s fourth signing this week, joining Michael Sio, Kevin Locke and Jordan Tansey at the club.

“I would like to welcome Anthony to the club. Brian Smith approached me after discussing a role at the club for Anthony,” said Wildcats chairman Michael Carter.

“I have been suitably impressed with Anthony’s qualities both physically and mentally, and I am sure that he will perform very well for the rest of the season.

“I would also like to thank Mike Rush and St Helens for the coorporation in this deal.”
