Leeds prop Anthony Mullally will miss the World Club Challenge against Melbourne with a serious finger injury.

Mullally, 26, sustained the injury in the win over Hull KR and will be replaced for the trip Down Under by Josh Walters.

The Rhinos are already without Mitch Garrett (quad), Mikolaj Oledzki (shoulder), Brett Ferres (knee), Keith Galloway (Achilles) and Nathaniel Peteru (bicep) leaving them light in the front row.

Walters, 23, made nine appearances for the Rhinos in 2017, as well as appearing 11 times for Featherstone.

He had been due to turn out for a Rhinos second string against Hunslet in a pre-season game on Friday night, but will now travel to Australia.
