Another State of Mind round in the books

James Gordon

State of Mind took over Super League once again this weekend to raise awareness of mental fitness and promote the fantastic work done throughout the year.

There have now been a total of six regular season State of Mind themed rounds, dating back to 2011.

We thought we would take a look at the winners and losers each year, to see if any teams particularly stepped it up for the State of Mind round.

Both Castleford and St Helens registered their fifth win from six State of Mind games, beating Warrington and Widnes respectively.

Salford, on the other hand, suffered defeat for the fifth time in six State of Mind games – their only win coming back in 2015 against Catalans.

Leigh marked their first ever State of Mind round game with a win over Wigan, who don’t have the best record – winning two and losing four from six.

Of the teams no longer in Super League – which also includes Bradford, Crusaders and London – only Hull KR had previously registered a win.
