Annakin signs new Wakefield deal

Wakfield forward Chris Annakin has signed an extension on his contract, tieing him to the club until the end of 2017.
Annakin is a product of the Wildcats Academy has signed another one-year extension on his contract.
“I am very pleased to have signed the extension, it is nice to have the security behind me,” the 25-year old said.
“To keep me here for another year is great especially because I have come up through the ranks at the club.
“Chris Chester has changed this squad around since coming in and we are now on a good run, he is making his plans for the future and it is nice to know that I am a part of it.”
Wakefield Head Coach Chris Chester has spoken about his delight for Annakin.
“It is important for the club that we have been able to secure another home grown talent such as Chris Annakin,” he said.
“Chris has been a good servant to the Wildcats for seven years and I am delighted that he has extended his contract for another 12 months.”
