Catalans Dragons have confirmed that Louis Anderson has signed a new two-year contract at the club.

The 30-year-old former Kiwi international, who joined Catalans in 2012 from Warrington, has made 68 appearances for the Catalans, scoring 12 tries.

“I’m very happy to represent the Catalans Dragons for two more years,” said Anderson.

“The club is very ambitious and I respect where the club has come from and the people who have been part of building the Dragons.

“I look forward to hard work and contributing to what the club wants to achieve.”

Catalans coach Laurent Frayssinous was pleased that a player of such talent and experience would now be at the club until the end of the 2017 season.

“I’m really satisfied to keep Louis at the club for the next two seasons,” he said.

“He is outstanding this season so far, playing prop or back rower.

“He is a powerful and aggressive player, with great skills and agility.

“He is here for four seasons now and is well integrated in the Catalan culture.”
