Anderson blasts ‘pathetic’ Giants

Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson has hit out at his teams second half performance against the Catalans Dragons at Magic Weekend.

The Giants were well in control in the first half, until a second half comeback from the Giants saw the game end 22-22.

“The second half was pathetic from the Giants,” he told Sky Sports after the game.

“I couldn’t care less about the stadium. It’s a great event, but I’m Giants coach and that’s all I’m bothered about.

“I want a performance, and that isn’t good enough.

“That’s not good enough in that second half at all, but I’ve got to pay credit to Catalans.”
