Allgood hit with two-game ban

Hull KR prop Mitch Allgood has been suspended for two matches by an independent RFL Operational Rules Tribunal.

He was found guilty of Grade C striking in the Super League fixture against Catalans Dragons, on Sunday March 15.

Allgood pleaded guilty, and was also fined £300.

A host of other players at Super League, League One and amateur level submitted Early Guilty Pleas (EGP), for offences committed over the weekend’s fixtures.

They were:

Ben Pomeroy (Catalans Dragons) – one-match suspension for Grade B running in and striking v Hull KR

Josh Bowden (Hull FC) – no further action after admitting Grade A dangerous contact v Wigan Warriors

Ben Kavanagh (Widnes Vikings) – no further action after admitting Grade A dangerous throw v St Helens

Danny Tickle (Widnes Vikings) – no further action after admitting Grade A dangerous throw v St Helens

Tony Suffolk (Rochdale Hornets) – one-match suspension for Grade B striking v Kells

Mike Ratu (Rochdale Hornets) – one-match suspension for Grade B striking v Kells

David Ford (Kells) – one-match suspension for Grade B striking v Rochdale

Lewis Wilson (Kells) – one-match suspension for Grade B striking v Rochdale

Scott Lofthouse (Kells) – one -match suspension for Grade B striking v Rochdale
