Hull KR prop Mitch Allgood has acknowledged that he has some improving to do in 2016.
The Australian prop has not managed to play more than five consecutive games for Rovers in 2015, and he feels that his form has been underwhelming when he has played.
“I have some making up to do next season. That’s my goal with a big off-season, pre-season and an injury- free season next year,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.
“As soon as we can be consistent, we’ll stand a better chance. Staying injury free and getting some good combinations together, we can give it a good shake.
“I feel I have a lot more potential in me and I can play better than I have done this season. That’s what I want [the fans] to see next year.
“My partner and I are going back home to Australia to spend some time with family.
“I enjoy eating food too much so I’ll need to do some fitness work to keep myself ticking over otherwise I’ll blow out.
“I like to train on my own. My parents have a gym there so that’s where I’ll go and do some swimming too.”
