Gloucestershire All Golds have announced the re-signing of Wales international Steve Parry on a two-year deal.

Parry, 24, joined the All Golds in June from South Wales Scorpions, and he is now committed until the end of 2015.

He said: “It’s a great feeling to have signed up withthe team for another season, as I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club. Moving to the All Golds last season really helped me re-discover my best form and my love for the game.

“That’s all down to the brilliant group of players and the great coaching staff. They have really made me feel welcome.”

The union convert played in South Wales‘ first ever game, back in 2010, and went on to score 43 tries in 73 appearances.

All Golds head coach Brad Hepi said: “Securing Steve’s signature is a major coup for the club. His arrival coincided with a real change in our performances.

“Parry brought with him a real professional attitude and a lot of confidence, both on the field and in the dressing room, that is a great example to the rest of the guys.

“Steve is the kind of player we can build a fantastic team around, and having him as the centre-piece of a strong forward pack will be crucial to our success next season.”
