Alex Walmsley has received a two-match ban following the Super League fixture between St Helens and Leeds.

The 30-year-old prop forward has been charged with a Grade C Dangerous Contact on Alex Sutcliffe by the Match Review Panel, but will be available to play Salford this evening as the ban comes into affect at midnight tonight.

He will miss the derby against Wigan at Totally Wicked Stadium.

Elsewhere, Salford’s Kallum Watkins received a Grade A Dangerous Contact but was not banned.

Leeds’ Tom Holroyd was also charged with Grade A Dangerous Contact but was not suspended.
