Tonga international Albert Vete has had his visa approved ahead of his move to Hull KR.

The 28-year-old was Hull KR’s first signing ahead of the 2021 campaign, with the powerhouse prop penning a two-year deal with the Robins.

Vete is expected to arrive in the UK from New Zealand in early March to begin training with his new Hull KR team-mates.

He has made 54 appearances in the NRL for New Zealand Warriors and Melbourne Storm since making his first grade debut in 2015. Vete has earned two caps for Tonga.

Hull KR have also signed Ryan Hall (Sydney Roosters), Korbin Sims (St George Illawarra Dragons), Brad Takairangi (Parramatta Eels), Luis Johnson (Warrington) and Muizz Mustapha (Leeds, loan) ahead of the 2021 Super League season.
