Albert Kelly believes Green and Greenwood deserve more credit

Albert Kelly believes Hull KR front rowers James Green and James Greenwood deserves more credit than they are receiving.

Kelly, Rovers’ player of the year in 2015, was at the forefront of the plaudits that came his club’s way during last season, with some superb individual performances.

Much was commented on halfbacks Kelly and Campese, as well as the backs at Rovers as they made the Challenge Cup final in 2015, but Kelly was quick to remind people that the forwards at Hull Kingston Rovers deserve just as much recognition.

“Greenwood and Greeny, I think they’ve done the damage up the middle for us this year,” Kelly told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We can’t do what we do in the back-line without the front-rowers. They set the platform for us and they do a lot of the hard yards.”

“Those two (Greenwood and Green), in particular need a lot of credit for our performances this year,” he said.
