Warrington captain Adrian Morley has been granted a testimonial by the RFL for services to the game.

Morley has been granted a three month testimonial running from March until May 2012. He began his career at Leeds in 1996 before getting the chance of a lifetime to play for Sydney Roosters at the turn of the Millennium. He helped Leeds to their first Challenge Cup win in 21 years before winning the NRL with Sydney in 2002.

His international career began in 1997 when he was selected to play in the Super League test series for Great Britain, and went on to win 50 caps for both England and Great Britain.

Upon returning to England, Morley joined Warrington in 2006 and became captain in 2008 when Lee Briers stepped down.

A launch dinner is expected to take place on March 7, at Warrington’s Park Royal Hotel.
