Addy targets Halifax revenge

Bradford Bulls utility player Danny Addybelieves that his team have a debt to pay Halifax this weekend, in their final Qualifiers fixture.

Barring some very exceptional circumstances, the Bulls have confirmed a place in the Million Pound Game, most probably against Wakefield, and Addy wants his team to show some form ahead of that crucial test.

“We definitely owe Halifax one, just like we owed Leigh one at the weekend, and we’ll be turning up with that same attitude against them,” he told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

“They beat us in the last game of the season and we can’t go into this weekend’s game thinking the job is done. Beating Leigh doesn’t mean anything if we don’t deliver in these next two games.

“We’re trying not to get our hopes up too early because we’ve done that before and come up short.

“But we just need to put some scores on Halifax early on and try and put the game to bed, which should give us even more confidence heading into the Million Pound Game.
