New GM for Wales RL
Wales Rugby League have appointed Paul Chambers as General Manager, following Chris Thair’s departure to the RLEF last month. His previous role as National Development Manager will be split into three part-time positions, covering south west Wales, south east Wales and north Wales. Chambers said: “I am pleased to be working for Wales Rugby League. When the opportunity arose, I thought there was no better time for me to get on board especially just after the first team qualified for the World Cup.”

Salford star’s fan engagement
Salford’s Jackson Hastings has been winning hearts by visiting young Red Devils fan Cael after he pledged to contribute to the club’s squad builder fund. Hastings and team mate Joey Lussick presented him with a shirt, took him to the stadium to meet the rest of the players; and now Hastings has been back to beat the youngster at FIFA. Great work!
