Former St Helens fullback Adam Quinlan has returned to the NRL and rejoined St George Illawarra.
Quinlan joined Saints in July this year on a short-term deal. The 23-year old, filling in at fullback, scored six tries in 11 appearances for the Merseyside club.
Quinlan left St Helens at the end of the season at the end of his contract and was tipped to join another Super League side in 2016.
But Love Rugby League understands the utility, who can play in the halves, has now gone back to the Dragons.
Quinlan came through the St George Illawarra system, playing for their NYC and NSW Cup teams. In 2013 he made his NRL debut and racked up eight tries in 23 games over two seasons.
At the start of 2015 Quinlan joined Parramatta but did not make a first-grade appearance for the Eels.
The Dragons have made a number of Super League signings for next season, including Saints prop Mose Masoe and Hull KR forward Tyrone McCarthy.
