Rochdale sign Wales international Ben Morris

Rochdale have signed young centre Ben Morris from St Helens on a two-year deal.

Morris, 21, has spent time with Keighley, Workington and Oldham over the past few seasons, and was part of the Saints academy team that was unbeaten throughout 2016.

He is currently on international duty with Wales for their European Championships campaign against Scotland, Ireland and France.

Morris said: “I’m really excited to be starting a new challenge at Rochdale and looking forward to getting started in pre-season.

“I’m grateful to Carl and the club for giving me a chance to get playing at a good level and I know he has a lot of ambition for the club.

“I see them moving in the right direction so it feels like a good move for me and hopefully I can bring something to the club.”
