2017 World Cup dates revealed

Next year’s World Cup is expected to start on October 27 and finish on December 2.

The official draw for the 2017 World Cup, which will be held in venues across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, will be held on July 19.

According to PA, the tournament will kick off in Melbourne on October 27 and end with the final at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on December 2.

England against Australia is being tipped as the tournament opener in Melbourne.

Fourteen countries will compete for the World Cup trophy.
