12 players banned

The RFL has confirmed that 12 players have been suspended after the independent disciplinary committee met on Tuesday evening.

The bans were as follows:

Davey Dixon (Keighley Cougars) pleaded guilty to Grade A punching in the 55th minute against Fryston. 1-match ban, £75 fine.

Jamie Acton (Leigh Centurions) pleaded not guilty to Grade A Dangerous Contact in the 29th minute against Wigan Warriors, found guilty. £300 fine.

FuiFui MoiMoi (Toronto Wolfpack) found guilty. Charge reduced to Grade D as committee saw tackle as reckless and not intentional. 3-match ban, £75 fine.

Steve Scott (Fryston) pleaded guilty to Grade F kicking/running in and punching in the 55th minute against Keighley Cougars. Banned from Rugby League at all levels until June 30th.

Andy Speake (Fryston) pleaded guilty to Grade D running in and punching in the 55th minute against Keighley Cougars. 4-match ban.

Sean Gee (Fryston) pleaded guilty to Grade F running in and punching in the 55th minute against Keighley Cougars. Banned from Rugby League at all levels until May 2nd.

Leon Crellin (Egremont Rangers) pleaded guilty to Grade B High Tackle in the 69th minute against York City Knights. 1-match ban.

Isaac Farrell (Huddersfield Giants Under-19s) pleaded guilty to Grade C Dangerous Throw in the 26th minute against St Helens Under-19s. 3-match ban, £50 fine.

The following players took the option of an Early Guilty Plea:

William Hope (Sheffield Eagles) – no ban
Rhys Curran (Toulouse) – 2 match suspension
Adam Rothwell (Fryston) – no ban
Ben Strong (Fryston) – 2 match suspension
Craig Jones (Fryston) – 1 match suspension
Jack Lee (Fryston) – 1 match suspension
Alex William (Hemel Stags) – 2 match suspension

Emmerson Whittal’s (Keighley) case was adjourned due to him not being medically fit to attend tonight’s hearing.
