Profile:
Stuart Fielden has enjoyed a glittering career in the Rugby League world and his rapid development as a youngster saw the honours roll in at an early age.
Named as Young Rugby League Player of the Year as a Bradford Bulls player in 2000. Fielden’s aggressive approach makes him one of the most feared forwards in Rugby League.
Fielden enjoyed his last game as a Bulls player in 2006 when the Yorkshire side played in the World Club Challenge against the West Tigers. He was named man of the match and scored two tries against the NRL side.
Naturally Fieldens impressive form made him a definite choice for Great Britain and in 2007 he was named in Bradford’s team of the century.
In 2006 Stuart made the decision to join his former boss Brian Noble at the Warriors in a move which shocked Super League. Bradford and Wigan agreed a £450,000 deal making Fielden the most expensive cash only signing of the Super League era.
Fielding was instrumental in his first season in helping his new club stay in the Super League.
Since being a Warriors player he has added another Grand Final win to his growing list of honours which includes a World Club Challenge winners medal and two Challenge cups.
2010 was a disappointing year for the prop who suffered a double injury setback, after recovering successfully from a knee op-Fielden picked up a shoulder injury in training and missed the all but one game for the Warriors.
Stuarts talent is recognised in by the honours he has collected in his glittering career, once considered the best prop in the world, Stuart and the Warriors are excited to see his aggressive and fearsome attacking in the forthcoming Super League campaign.
