Profile:
Michael Shenton made his first-team debut for Castleford Tigers in 2004, becoming a first-team regular in the Tigers’ 2005 National League season. He remained in the first team for the 2006 Super League season and stayed with the Tigers after their relegation despite interest from a number of clubs. He won a place in the 2007 National League Team of the Year. In 2008 Shenton made his England debut against Wales and was in the initial train-on squad for the 2008 World Cup.
