Karl is a hard-working, tough and aggressive New Zealand-born prop or second row forward who represented the Cook Islands at the 2000 World Cup.
Karl joined Harlequins towards the end of the 2005 season from New Zealand Warriors, for whom he made 22 NRL appearances. Having struggled with injury initially, Karl has established himself as an important part of the Quins squad.
