Profile:
Ewan Dowes signed a dual contract with Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Tykes in 2001. He struggled to get into the Rhinos side and was signed by Hull FC in 2003. Dowes played a large part in Hull’s 2005 Challenge Cup win and helped the Black and Whites to reach the engage Super League Grand Final the following year. He finished 2008 stronly by breaking his run of 88 games without a try, scoring against Harlequins.
