Widnes star Tom Gilmore cautioned for contact with match official

Widnes half-back Tom Gilmore has received a caution by the match review panel for making contact with a match official.

The 24-year-old made contact with a match official in the Vikings’ 44-22 defeat to Wakefield Trinity at the Mobile Rocket Stadium on Sunday. He will not serve a ban but has been cautioned by the match review panel.

Elsewhere, no further action has been taken on Catalans Dragons duo Greg Bird and Kenny Edwards for a dangerous throw and dangerous contact in their win at Leeds Rhinos.

No further action has been taken on Leeds pair Brett Ferres and Adam Cuthbertson for a shoulder charge and dangerous contact.

Wigan ace Willie Isa and Castleford forward Matt Cook originally received dangerous contact charges but no further action has been taken on them either.
