Luke Briscoe has been named in Featherstone’s squad for the weekend just a day after making his third debut for Leeds.

The 24-year-old scored on his third debut the Rhinos last night in their defeat to Catalans Dragons after recently joining on loan from Featherstone until the end of the season.

Briscoe is set to return to Rovers at the end of the season but he can still play for the Championship club on a dual-registration basis this year.

The winger has been named in John Duffy’s Featherstone side for Saturday’s trip to the Olympic Legacy Park to face Sheffield Eagles (3pm), meaning that he will play his second game in less than four days.

Briscoe has impressed in the Championship this season, equalling the all-time rugby league record for tries in 17 consecutive games set by former Leeds winger Eric Harris.

Leeds forward Jack Ormondroyd is also set to feature for Featherstone on Saturday through dual-registration.
