There was one result in particular that shocked the rugby league world in round six of the Championship.

Toulouse Olympique came from being 16-6 down at half-time to score 40 unanswered points in the second half to defeat title favourites Toronto Wolfpack 46-16 at the Stade Ernest-Wallon.

Dean Parata, Stan Robin (2), Gavin Marguerite (2), Rhys Curran and Mark Kheirallah (2) went over for the French side.

Widnes Vikings took another step towards the zero-point mark as they eased past Barrow Raiders 20-4 at Craven Park on Sunday.

Danny Craven, Brad Walker, Ryan Ince and Hep Cahill all crossed the whitewash for Kieron Purtill’s Vikings.

First half tries from Ethan Ryan, Ross Oakes and Liam Kirk were enough to see Bradford Bulls run-out 16-6 winners against Batley Bulldogs at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium.

Danny Yates crossed for the Bulldogs, while his team-mate Tom Lillycop was sin-binned late on in the game for a high tackle.

Sheffield Eagles suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 32-14 against Featherstone Rovers at the LD Nutrition Stadium.

James Lockwood, Calum Turner (2), Ashton Golding, Jack Bussey and John Davies scored for Ryan Carr’s Rovers. Featherstone forward Jack Bussey was sin-binned in the second half restart for holding down, while Sheffield ace Blake Broadbent was yellow carded in the first half for a dangerous challenge.

Leigh Centurions ran in six tries to comfortably beat Swinton Lions 30-12 at Heywood Road.

Stefan Marsh (2), Liam Hood, Gregg McNally, Matty Costello and Toby Adamson went over for John Duffy’s Centurions. Swinton youngster Ollie Partington and Leigh forward Luke Adamson were sin-binned 30 seconds into the game for fighting.

Ed Barber scored a hat-trick to inspire Halifax to a 26-0 thumping of Dewsbury Rams at The Shay.

Shaun Robinson scored Fax’s other try, while Steve Tyrer kicked five goals from as many attempts. Barber was sin-binned on the half hour mark though for fighting.
