Hull FC back-rower Jack Downs is the latest player to join Batley for the 2019 season.

The 22-year-old made his Hull FC debut back in 2015 in an away game against St Helens.

Downs has played seven games for the Black and Whites this season and has played 13 games for his hometown club in total.

He scored one try for FC which came against Salford Red Devils earlier this year.

The former Cottingham Tigers junior also has experience of playing in League 1 with Doncaster on dual-registration.

In a short Hull FC statement, it read: “Hull FC would like to thank Jack for his contributions to the club over the last few years and wish him well for the remainder of his career.”
