Hopkins out for the season
Leigh forward Sam Hopkins has joined Rob Parker in being ruled out for the season, after suffering medial ligament damage.
Hopkins, 22, has been a stand-out performer in the Centurions campaign, which sees them currently sitting in fourth place in the Championship.
They take on Keighley on Thursday night, where a win would lift Leigh on to level points with second placed Halifax with one game to go.
Coach Paul Rowley said: "We’ve been absolutely rock-solid for two games, and we’re more than happy with how we’re going.
“Keighley will be a bit upset at the way we dismantled them, and they’ll have 101 points to prove. They’ve also got several players leaving at the end of the season, and they’ll want to finish on a positive note.
“There are plenty of reasons why Keighley will want a good performance, but we’re not limping into our final two games. We’re bouncing around and rolling strong.
“We’re confident, and we know what levels we need to reach in terms of our intensity and commitment.”
