Canterbury foward Frank Pritchard will miss Saturday's round two match up with St George through suspension.
Pritchard was found guilty of a grade one careless high tackle at the NRL judiciary and given a one match ban following his high shot on Penrith's David Simmonds.
Simmonds had to be helped from the field and was later hospitalised after being collected in the head by Pritchard's shoulder.
Coach Des Hasler has yet to name Pritchard's replacement.
Widnes centre Charly Runicman has put talks on his future on hold as he aims to focus on the Super League season at hand.
Wales coach John Kear is very proud of the way the team has improved during his time in charge, and he is loving working with so many Welsh-born and bred players.
Wales Rugby League is to be rebranded over the course of 2016 and is seeking feedback from stakeholders as to the direction in which they should head.
