Canterbury foward Frank Pritchard will miss Saturday's round two match up with St George through suspension.
Pritchard was found guilty of a grade one careless high tackle at the NRL judiciary and given a one match ban following his high shot on Penrith's David Simmonds.
Simmonds had to be helped from the field and was later hospitalised after being collected in the head by Pritchard's shoulder.
Coach Des Hasler has yet to name Pritchard's replacement.
Almost 20 years since the two clubs played in a cross-code challenge series as the best two sides in each code, Wigan and Bath have linked up again for some dual-training in the south west this week.
