Salford issued Winding up Petition
Salford have been issued with a winding up petition less than a year after moving into their new stadium.
The petition appears to have been brought about by a current sponsor and creditor of the club, management consultants Steuer Gregsson.
However Salford have moved quickly to alleviate fears that the Reds are heading for a situation similar to what Bradford Bulls found themselves in, by commenting on their official facebook page that 'It is over a very small amount of money and is being dealt with. The Club have brought people in to sort it out and it will be'.
