Description of the ground: Odsal is a unique rugby league experience in its bowl shape that tends to create a fantastic atmosphere when packed with fans. The Coral Stand is made up of executive boxes that overlook the pitch, which curves up towards the corners of the pitch in the in-goal area. There is a now un-used speedway track going around the outside of the pitch. There is one covered stand with seating, but the rest of the spectator space is terraced and uncovered. Going in and out of the ground is via the tops of the terraced stands. The pitch is relatively short at Bradford, owing to the speedway track.
The Grattan stadium, also know as 'Odsal' is one of the most prestigious grounds in the Super League. The stadium holds the World Record for a crowd at a RL match, with 102,569 people packing in the ground for a challenge cup tie in the 1950's.
There's no segregation at The Grattan, but away fans generally congregate on the terraces behind the sticks. The home fans are situated at either side of the ground, with a corporate facility behind the goal. If you are travelling to an away game, it's recommended you check the weather forecasts, and bring the appropriate gear as the ground is open to the elements.
